The Crystal Paper Group was formed in 1986, with the birth of Crystal Paper Mills Pty Ltd. From humble and modest beginnings, the group saw the birth of Paper and Pulp Industries Pty Ltd as well as Universal Tissue Pty Ltd.

With the foresightedness vision and direction of The Crystal Paper Group founder and CEO Rafik Dosani, the group has always been at the forefront of innovation and product development which allowed the group to always be at the forefront of introducing new products into the South African market.

Today some 35 years later, We stand proud of having received recognition for being the leading independent tissue paper manufacturer in South Africa.
